THE INSTRUMENT SFX

(MINING THE TOMB RAIDER 'INSTRUMENT' SCULPTURE FOR SFX - 2018)

The Instrument, created by sculptor Matt McConnell, re-recorded here for source sound effects to be used in Shadow of the Tomb Raider as sound design layers and ingredients. The goal was to use elements of the first reboot game's soundtrack as 'emotional' fear memory elements in some of the new tomb challenges that Lara encountered in Shadow.

PARAMETIZED FOLEY 

(DEMO OF A RUNTIME FOLEY TECHNIQUE)

This quick demo (in Wwise 2014) of some procedural (or 'faux-cedural') methods of creating Cloth / Clothing Foley that can then be re-performed from original loop recordings using a 'movement velocity' parameter.
